Paragraph of the Week, lol

I thought her comment was funny, so I posted the last graded one. xD

Two friends, Yamato and Ren, walked along a river bank, aiming to find something they had lost earlier that day. They came across a sewer entrance, and Ren suggested they check out the opening, just in case. Yamato followed, albeit slightly unwillingly. The sepulchral area almost made him think a dirgefulsong was soon to echo off the walls. Ren, being the fastidious guy he was, checked every little nook before suggesting they go further inside. Yamato didn’t really think that the lost key would have traveled that far, but once again followed him. Their soft palaver filled the air as they walked along. Yamato attempted to ignore the creepy surrounding and focus on their conversation; Ren’s lack of provincialism, thanks to his being raised by his older sister, always amazed Yamato. He was glad that they were able to share heterodox ideas without having to worry about the other judging him. Yamato was pulled from his thoughts rudely when the two boys ran into a seemingly imperious homeless man. He introduced himself as Judge Turpin, the Great, and proceeded to adjudicateover an imaginary trial. Ren and Yamato cast quick glances at each other before fleeing in the opposite direction of him. When they reached the opening again, they bumped into a police officer, who was convinced that they were partaking in illegal activities. Their seditious attitudes, he thought, needed to be taken care of.

“Your rapaciousness is unforgiveable!” he exclaimed. Ren and Yamato attempted to sidestep him and get away, but the man got in their way, demanding animmolation of their souls. Yamato was slightly creeped out, while Ren could see nothing but the facetiousness of the situation.

Suddenly, Yamato woke up in his bed. He was rather confused until he looked around and realized he had been dreaming. Next to him, Ren woke up as well.

“I just had the weirdest dream,” he said groggily.

“Same here… there was this creepy judge in a sewer,” Yamato replied.

“Woah, was there an evil police officer who was thought we were doing illegal stuff, too?”

“Um, yeah, actually there was. Why?”

“I think we had the same dream,” Ren replied with a laugh.

“Or was it really a dream?” Yamato replied jokingly, and the two rolled out of the bed and went downstairs for breakfast.

(This is SO WEIRD....the book I am reading right now takes place some of the time in the underground of London and it is loomed over by a mysterious being...your story remined me of it! Nicely done, as usual. It is even mistake-free! Next time write something you might be able to use in your project! Just a thought!)

I am such a procrastinator.... I really need to get going on that project. xD

Yay, Gokusen. xD
